Wrap Dress

Over the past 2 years both of my sisters have really gotten into sewing. Such a fun craft, but I don't have the patience for it! In their quest to become master seamstress, here is a wrap dress that one of them made. Pretty cute, I think little miss P models it well! :)

TuTu Tuesday

After college I was trying to think of a fun and easy way to break myself back into crafting, thats when I thought of TUTUS! It was a nice change from what I would usually do. I love them! I love the finished product, and what more precious, girly thing than a tutu! I would have loved to have had a closet full of these when I was a little girl! Here are a few that I have done...

This is the niece of one of my best friends. She asked me to make her a few of these to give to all of her nieces at Christmas. I think she looks pretty adorable, she must get that from her Aunt! ;)

If you are interested in a TuTu, email me at cbhsecrest@gmail.com!

Something Old, Something New

I love taking old things and sprucing them up and making them new and useful to someone else. I got to experiment with that with these window panes. One of them is enjoyed in my home, in my kitchen,
one is in the home of my sister,
and the other belongs to someone in Winnsboro, LA. (I hate I didn't get a better picture of this before I sold it, this doesn't do it justice!)
Hope they are enjoying these little pieces of art! I know I enjoy looking at mine everyday. Something old, something new let me know if I can do something like this for you! Email me at cbhsecrest@gmail.com.

Beauty Rest

My parents are the main reason I love doing crafts and artistic things. Both of them are very talented artisans, as well as wonderful parents. Just to show you how talented they are I wanted to share this beautiful headboard my dad made. It has a great story too - it was created from cypress that came out of an old annebellum home in Tallulah, LA. I think it would be pretty easy to get some beauty rest on such a beautiful bed! I hope you enjoyed seeing it! If you are interested in owning a piece similar to this, email me at cbhsecrest@gmail.com.
